Liman Han

Designed by imperial architect Vedat Tek in the early 1900s and located in Istanbul’s Eminonu district, Liman Han had suffered structural damage over time.

During the 2021–2022 restoration, its foundations were reinforced and both interior and exterior tile decorations were renewed.

Iznik Mavi Cini produced 22,964 Iznik tiles of different sizes and motifs within only five months. The restored Liman Han reopened in September 2022 as an education and research center.
