Gok Madrasa
Located in Sivas and built in 1271 by Vizier Sahip Ata Fahreddin Ali during the reign of Sultan Giyaseddin Keyhusrev III, Gok Medrese derives its name from the deep blue tones of its tiles.
In the 2021 restoration, Iznik Mavi Cini produced 25,000 Seljuk-style tiles—in hexagonal, rectangular, square, and custom geometric forms—using cut-stone and monochrome glaze techniques to authentically restore the original patterns.
