Twenty original designs prepared by artist Souadad Al-Sıgab Kandemir, inspired by her diving experiences and set to take the viewer on a captivating underwater journey, have been brought together with our traditional art of Iznik tile. Each design was redrawn by our designer Serap Ereyli according to stone tiles and carefully applied to single-piece stone tile bodies with a 40 cm diameter, specially produced at our workshop. The vibrant colors, unusual in Iznik tile, were developed as a result of long-term R&D studies conducted by us and adapted to the rich diversity of the underwater world.
These rare works, emerging after a meticulously conducted production process, met with art lovers at the exhibition titled "Thalassophile" at the Istanbul Naval Museum.
Thalassophile means a person who loves the sea and enjoys everything related to it.
