Brought to life with the call "Let the lakes not dry up, let the fish not die," this exhibition is not only an aesthetic encounter but also an environmental awareness movement.

Lake Iznik, one of Turkey's important natural heritages, faces the danger of rapid extinction due to the global climate crisis and unconscious water use by industrial establishments. Two artists have joined forces to draw attention to this situation.

The exhibition began with illustrator fish drawings specially prepared by Mehmet Günyeli for Turkey's lakes, becoming the visual expression of sensitivity toward the aquatic life facing extinction in the lake. Subsequently, Serap Ereyli blended these fish illustrations with traditional Iznik tile motifs, creating a contemporary art collection representing both nature and cultural heritage. Fish patterns were applied onto tile panels, bringing together past and present, nature and art. Through this collaborative work, the artists draw attention to the growing insensitivity toward nature while conveying a message of social responsibility through art's transformative power. The aim is to be the voice of the lakes and to protect them through the power of art.
