The special collection designed for April Coffee Roasters consists of Iznik tiles in the forms of mugs, espresso cups, coffee brewing apparatus, and spoons. All forms and patterns have been reinterpreted with the brand's corporate colors, bringing together traditional tile art with functional designs. Iznik tile, which was predominantly used as wall decoration in the 15th century, has been transformed into a part of modern coffee culture in this project.
The purpose of this collaboration is to preserve the aesthetic and cultural value of Iznik ceramic while carrying it into different areas of use and passing it on to new generations through contemporary designs.
